How do I add a vehicle that's not in the database?

When you're adding a vehicle to a customer and the year/make/model dropdown doesn't have what you need, you can enter it manually.

Open the customer record, click "+ Add Vehicle", and on the form there's an option to enter a custom make and model. The dropdown is a convenience for common vehicles, but the underlying field accepts free text - your custom entry saves cleanly and shows up everywhere a normal vehicle does.

For exotic, vintage, or kit-built vehicles, this is the way. The VIN field still works, year still works, and you can add notes the same as any other vehicle. Photos attach on work orders, not on the vehicle record.
