1sixty8 Manifold runs as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on iPhone, Android, and desktop browsers. Once installed, it lives on your home screen like a regular app, runs full-screen, and can deliver push notifications.
Open the install page
Open the URL your shop manager gave you and add /m/install to the end (for example, yourstore.manifold.1sixty8.com/m/install). The page detects which device you are on and shows the right instructions.
iPhone or iPad
Open the install page in Safari. iOS PWA install is Safari-only; Chrome on iOS cannot install the app. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow pointing up). Scroll down in the share sheet and choose "Add to Home Screen". Tap "Add" in the top right. The 1sixty8 Manifold icon appears on your home screen.
Push notifications on iPhone are only available after the app has been added to the home screen.
Android
Tap the "Install Manifold" button on the install page. Confirm in the browser prompt. The 1sixty8 Manifold icon appears on your home screen. If the install prompt does not appear, open your browser menu and choose "Install app" or "Add to home screen" manually.
Desktop computer
Tap the "Install Manifold" button to install it as a desktop app. Most browsers also show an install icon in the address bar (a small monitor or plus icon, depending on the browser). The installed desktop app runs in its own window without browser chrome.
Once installed, open 1sixty8 Manifold from your home screen (or desktop) and follow the pairing flow. See the article on pairing a mobile device.
