Account > Notifications is your personal preferences page: which alerts buzz your phone, and when. (Shop-wide notification policy lives at Settings > Notifications and is controlled by managers; see that article for the shop-side view.)

Go to Account > Notifications.

The page is two sections of push-notification toggles

  • Default-on alerts: new customer message, new review, chat mentions and DMs, task assigned, approval request, critical system alert, work order edit request, work order ready for QC, forgot to clock out.
  • Opt-in alerts: new lead, private feedback, estimate signed, reminder/follow-up due, pipeline stage change, daily digest, weekly digest.

Each row has a single Push toggle, a label, and a short description. Some rows show "Required by your shop" as a plain text note next to the toggle; those toggles are disabled and stay on because a manager force-required them for your role at Settings > Notifications.

Quiet hours

Below the toggles is a Quiet hours card. Toggle "Mute non-urgent push during quiet hours" and pick a start and end time (default 9pm to 7am in your store's local time). When on, non-urgent push notifications are held until quiet hours end. Two categories always bypass quiet hours and come through anyway: Approval request and Critical system alert.

Push notifications need the PWA installed

Push only works once 1sixty8 Manifold is installed as a home-screen app. On iPhone, add to Home Screen from Safari first; on Android use the install prompt or the browser menu's "Install app". See the article on installing 1sixty8 Manifold for the per-platform steps. If push has not been enabled yet, open the Launcher in the mobile app and tap "Enable push" to grant OS-level permission.

Email and SMS fallback are tracked in the database but dispatch is on the roadmap; today the bell icon, persistent banner, ack overlay, and push are the live surfaces. See the article on reading notifications in 1sixty8 Manifold for what each surface looks like.
