Daily Sales is your top-line revenue report: what each day brought in across every channel, plus a category breakdown and a chart for the period.
Go to Reports > Accounting > Daily Sales. Set a date range at the top and click Apply.
This report counts invoices by their post date, which is the day the sale was recorded, whether or not the money has come in yet. That is the opposite of Tax Collected and Drawer Summary, which count money on the day it arrives. If you put a lot of work on account, the two will differ, and that is expected rather than a mistake.
Two filters sit next to the date range
- Invoice type: limit the report to one kind of invoice (customer invoice, dealer, warranty, repair, estimate, refund, work order). Defaults to all types.
- Invoice status: defaults to Completed sales, which is posted, paid, and partially paid invoices. Switch it to see something specific, for example Pending / unposted to look at open estimates you have not invoiced yet, or All statuses to include voids. Voids are never in the default.
Five summary cards across the top: Total Revenue, Invoices (count), Avg Ticket, Tax Collected, and Discounts. The Discounts card is rendered in red.
Below the cards is the Sale Components panel, a small table showing the full revenue composition for the period: Subtotal, Discounts, Tax, Misc fees, CC surcharge, Tax on surcharge, Grand Total Revenue, and a final "Of which: On Account (AR)" line that tells you how much of the revenue is still owed versus collected.
Below that is a Revenue by Day bar chart. Each bar is one day's revenue. On screen the chart is interactive; in print mode it embeds as a static image.
Revenue by Category groups your line-item revenue by item type (Product, Labor, Misc) with a percent-of-revenue column.
The Daily Breakdown table at the bottom shows one row per day with columns Date, Invoices, Subtotal, Discounts, Tax, Revenue, and totals every column on the final row. The rows are date-aggregated, not per-invoice, so individual invoices are not linked from this table; for that, drill into the Invoicing page.
Whatever filters you set are kept when you click "Add to End of Day", so the report you confirmed is the report that gets sent.
