The Launcher is the home screen of the 1sixty8 Manifold mobile app. It is what opens after you unlock with your PIN.
What you see
Your store name, your role, and a grid of tiles for the features you have access to. The tile set is tailored to your role and to which modules your shop has turned on. Typical tiles:
- Inbox: customer SMS, email, chat conversations
- Tasks: Team Hub tasks assigned to you
- Team Chat: internal staff chat
- Check-In / Out: scan a work order barcode at the bay
- Work Orders: open service work orders
- Schedule: appointments calendar
- Sales Pipeline: leads, estimates, won/lost
- Reviews: customer reviews
- Reports: any reports you can access
- Customers, Vehicles, and others
A tile only shows up if you have permission to use the feature and the module is enabled for your shop. If a tile you expect is missing, ask your shop owner about role permissions or module activation.
Push notifications
The Launcher prompts you to enable push notifications the first time you open it after installing. Tap Enable push to allow them. After that, Send a test push confirms they work, and Turn off push silences them.
If notifications are blocked at the OS level, open your phone's Settings, find 1sixty8 Manifold, and allow notifications. If the browser does not support push at all you will see "Push notifications not supported here". On iOS this usually means the app has not been added to the home screen yet; add it (see the install article) and re-open the Launcher.
Top bar
- Avatar (top left) opens your Account settings (profile, password, trusted devices, notification preferences).
- Search icon opens global search for customers, invoices, vehicles, and more (see the article on Using the Global Search).
- Bell icon shows your unread notifications. The badge count updates in real time.
Footer
- Install help: re-open the install page if you need to walk a teammate through setup.
- Open desktop: jump to the full desktop POS in a browser tab.
- Sign out: sign out completely. You will need email and password to come back, not just the PIN.
Revoking a lost or stolen phone
On the desktop POS, open Account > Trusted Devices and click Revoke next to the missing phone. The device cannot reach the app until it is paired again with a fresh code.
