1sixty8 Manifold lets you change one field across many products at once, instead of opening and saving each product individually. This is especially useful after an import, when whole groups of your catalog need the same correction.

Who can do this

Owners and store managers can bulk edit by default. An owner can grant the "Bulk edit products from the list" permission to any specific user under Managers > Permissions, so a salesperson who runs inventory can do it without being made a manager.

How to bulk edit

  1. Go to Inventory > Products.
  2. Use the filters at the top (search, category, vendor, stock, type, status) to narrow the list to the group of products you want to change.
  3. A checkbox appears on each row. Tick the products you want, or use the checkbox in the table header to select every product on the current page.
  4. If your filter matches more products than fit on one page, a link appears offering to select all of them matching the filter, not just the ones on this page. Click it to act on the whole group.
  5. In the action bar that appears, choose the field to change, pick or type the new value, and click Apply.
  6. A confirmation shows the exact number of products that will change. Confirm it, and the change is applied immediately.

Fields you can bulk edit today

Status (Active or Inactive), Category, Vendor, Low Stock Threshold, and Max Stock Quantity. The two stock fields are the same ones on the individual product page: Low Stock Threshold is the count at which a product starts showing as low, and Max Stock Quantity is the level the Restock Assistant orders back up to. Low Stock Threshold can be 0; Max Stock Quantity must be at least 1, the same floors the individual product form uses. Prices and SKU or barcode are deliberately left out for now, because an accidental bulk change to those is hard to undo.

Every bulk change is written to your store's activity log, recording the field, the new value, and which products were affected, so there is always a record of what changed.
