A count sheet is the paper your staff carry down the aisle, listing SKUs with a blank box beside each to write the count in.

Go to Inventory > Physical Count > Print Count Sheet.

Choose a Primary Sort of Brand or Category. The sheet groups on this: each brand (or category) starts on a new page, and its name is printed at the top of every page it covers, so page four of Rockford Fosgate still says Rockford Fosgate. That way a page separated from the stack is never anonymous, and one person can be handed the pages for one section.

Underneath, tick which brands (or categories) you want. Filter the list by typing, and use All or None to select in bulk. Leave every box unticked to print your whole catalog.

Secondary Sort orders the products within each group, usually by SKU. Columns Per Page trades text size against page count: three columns suits most shops, four fits more per page but prints smaller.

Click "Generate Count Sheet" and the sheet opens in a new tab with a Print button. It prints landscape.

One thing to expect: because every brand starts on its own page, a full-catalog sheet runs considerably longer than it used to, since brands with only one or two products still take a page each. If you only need part of the shop, tick just those brands.

The sheet is for writing on. Entering the numbers, submitting, and approving all happen in the count itself. See How to Run a Physical Inventory Count.
