Detailed Sales by Salesperson lists every individual invoice each rep wrote in a period. Use it when you need to verify commission, dispute an attribution, or hand a rep a line-by-line accounting of their work.
Go to Reports > Salesperson > Detailed Sales by Salesperson.
The report groups every invoice by salesperson. Each rep gets a header row with their name and total invoice count, followed by a flat list of every invoice they wrote. Per-invoice columns: Invoice, Customer, Product, Labor, Tax, Misc, CC Surcharge, Grand Total. A subtotal row closes out each rep's section.
Pick a payroll period at the top: Last Week, Previous 2 Weeks, Previous Month, or Custom Range. Three filters sit beside it:
- Salesperson: narrow to one rep instead of reading every section. Defaults to all.
- Invoice type: limit to one kind of invoice (customer invoice, dealer, warranty, repair). Defaults to all types.
- Invoice status: defaults to Completed sales, which is posted, paid, and partially paid invoices.
Invoices are counted by post date, the day the sale was recorded, not the day the money came in.
Invoice numbers and customer names are clickable. When you click into an invoice and then click Back, you come back to this report with your period and filters still applied.
Use this report when
- You are running commission and need to see every transaction a rep should be paid on
- A rep disputes a number on Sales by Salesperson and you need to show them which specific invoices it came from
- You want to spot a single outlier invoice (e.g. a huge sale or a refund) that swung a rep's total
- You need an auditable list to attach to a payroll record
