The Physical Count Variance report shows the history of physical counts you've completed, with how many items had a variance and what the total unit difference was.
Go to Reports > Inventory > Physical Count Variance.
The table lists each approved count with date, who started it, items counted, items with variance, and total variance in units. Items with variance are color coded: zero is green, any non-zero is amber. The total unit difference flips red when greater than zero.
Use this report to
- Spot whether your counts are getting more or less accurate over time
- Decide whether shrinkage is a real problem
- Audit specific counts - click "View" to open the full count and see line-level detail
Run a physical count from Inventory > Physical Count > New Count. Once approved, it shows up here with the variance numbers locked in.
