Sales by Category per Salesperson breaks each rep's sales into product vs. labor, with the percentage split between the two. Use it to see who is moving product, who is selling install time, and how your team's mix compares.
Go to Reports > Salesperson > Sales by Category per Salesperson.
The table has one row per salesperson with five columns: Salesperson, Product Sales, Labor Sales, Total, and Product %.
Pick a payroll period at the top: Last Week, Previous 2 Weeks, Previous Month, or Custom Range.
Rows are sorted by total sales descending, so leaders are at the top.
Use this report to
- Spot reps who are heavy on product (good for retail-driven shops) vs. labor (good for service-driven shops)
- Coach the team on the mix you want them selling - e.g. attaching labor to product sales
- Compare two reps' product vs. labor balance side by side
- Track whether a push to upsell installation labor is actually moving the % toward labor
The Product % column is calculated against the row's total (product + labor) so it ignores tax, misc fees, and surcharge - it tells you the line-item mix of what each rep sold, not the full ticket math.
