A few spots in 1sixty8 Manifold are scanner-aware. If your scanner is plugged in and configured as a keyboard-wedge device (the default for almost every retail scanner), you can scan from any of these:

Invoices, estimates, and other documents: Scan a product UPC or SKU on the line-item area to add it as a line item at quantity 1. Scan a serial number to add the matching serialized product. Scan a VIN into the VIN field at the top of the document and it fills in.

Purchase orders and return orders: Scan a UPC, SKU, or serial number on the form. If the product is already on the PO, the quantity bumps by 1. If not, it is added as a new line item at quantity 1. A short toast confirms each scan. If you scan something that does not exist in your products list, the toast offers a Search link so you can find what you meant.

Purchase order receiving (the PO detail page): Scan products as they come in to mark them received. The receiving form increments received-quantity by 1 per scan. On serialized line items, the serial-entry modal accepts scans directly into each serial slot.

Physical inventory count: Scan products into the count session. Each scan adds 1 to the on-hand count for that product. The platform saves your progress to local storage so a refresh or crash does not lose your scanned list.

Product detail page: The Barcode and SKU fields on the product form accept scans. Useful when setting up a new product and you want the barcode field to match the printed UPC exactly. Serial entry inputs on serialized products accept scans the same way.

Anywhere in the app, printed barcodes on documents: Every printable document carries a barcode of its number: invoices, estimates, refunds, work orders, purchase orders, and return orders. Scan one from any page and 1sixty8 Manifold opens that exact document for you. Scanning a VIN from any page opens vehicle search for that VIN.

Mobile bay app (phone or tablet): On the bay hub, tap the big blue Scan WO or VIN button to open the camera. Aim at a printed work order barcode and the app drops you directly into that work order's bay check-in and check-out screen. Scan a VIN and the app finds the vehicle: if there is an active work order on it, you land on that work order's bay screen; if the vehicle is on file with no active work order, you land on its service history; if the VIN is unknown, you see a decode peek with year, make, and model. Manual entry is always available as a fallback if your camera cannot start.

One thing scanner support does NOT cover yet: customer lookup. There is no scan-to-find-customer flow on the customer form.

If you do not see the form you expect to be scannable, scan support has not been wired up there yet. Let us know which workflow would help.
