Reviews Settings is where you connect your Google Business Profile, set your manual review URLs, customize the request templates customers see, and tune how often the system asks for a review. Everything you need to run the review program lives on one page.

Open Settings and click the Reputation card.

The page has five sections.

  1. Google Business Profile

Connect your Google account so reviews you receive on Google show up inside the POS automatically. Click "Connect Google" to start the OAuth flow. Once connected, you see the linked Google account email, your location name, and the timestamp of the last sync. Buttons:

  • Refresh Now: pull new reviews on demand
  • Disconnect: remove the connection (you can reconnect any time)

If the connection lapses (expired token, revoked access, sync error), the section shows the reason and a "Reconnect Google" button.

You do not have to use Google OAuth to send review requests - the review landing page can point at any Google review URL you paste into the next section. The OAuth connection is only required for automatic review ingestion.

  1. Review URLs

Two optional URL fields for the review landing page to point at

  • Google review URL: the "write a review" link from your Google Business Profile (e.g. https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=...). Inline help on the field shows where to find this in business.google.com.
  • Facebook review URL: your Facebook page's reviews/recommendations URL. Facebook uses "Recommendations" instead of star ratings.

If both are set, the review landing page offers the customer their choice. If only one is set, the page goes straight to that platform.

  1. Request Templates

Customize the text customers see when you ask for a review. Three fields

  • SMS message
  • Email subject
  • Email body

Merge tags available: {first_name}, {store_name}, {review_link}. The platform replaces these with the customer's first name, your store name, and the unique review link when the message goes out.

  1. Delivery
  • Default channel: how requests are sent by default. Options: Auto (SMS preferred, email fallback), SMS only, Email only, or Both SMS and email.
  • Cooldown (days): warn before re-asking the same customer within this window. Default 30 days. Set to a smaller number if you sell to customers multiple times a month and they expect to be asked each time.
  1. Notifications
  • Send bell notification for all new reviews: turn on if you want a heads-up every time a review lands (helpful early on; you may want to turn it off once you are getting many a week)
  • Urgent threshold (stars): reviews at or below this rating trigger an urgent badge notification so the right person can respond quickly. 1-5 stars dropdown.

Click "Save Settings" at the bottom to apply.
