Connecting Google Business Profile lets the POS pull in your Google reviews and post replies directly from the Reviews module.
Google review syncing is not switched on yet. Google has to approve us for their Business Profile API before any shop's reviews can be pulled in, and that approval is still pending on their side. Connecting now is worth doing so you are ready the moment it comes through, but until then no reviews will appear in the POS, and replies you write here will not post to Google.
Open Settings and click the Reputation card.
Click "Connect Google". A Google sign-in window opens. Sign in with the account that owns your Google Business Profile and grant the requested permissions.
If your account manages more than one location, you'll be asked to pick which location to link. Choose the one for this shop and click Continue.
Once connected, and once the approval comes through
- Existing Google reviews are pulled in automatically. Click "Refresh Now" on the settings page to re-pull on demand.
- Replies you post in the POS sync up to Google.
One part works today regardless of the approval: the Send Review Requests feature can include a direct link to your Google review page. That link comes from the Google review URL you paste into Reviews Settings, not from this connection, so you can run your whole review-request program without waiting on Google.
To unlink, click "Disconnect" on the settings page. Existing reviews stay in the POS for history but no new ones will sync until you reconnect.
