You can wire up the platform to send a review request to the customer automatically every time a work order closes, without anyone clicking "Send" each time. The setup lives in Automations.
To turn it on
Open Settings and click Automations. Find the Review Request card; it has a star icon. Toggle it on.
From there you can configure
- Channel: SMS, Email, or Both. The customer's contact preferences and SMS opt-out status are respected automatically.
- Send delay: how long to wait after the work order closes before firing. Default is 24 hours. Pick a value and a unit (hours or days).
- Send mode: Automatic fires every time. Confirm before sending puts the message in a queue for a staff member to review and approve before it goes out.
- Message template: the body of the message. Use the variable buttons to insert customer name, business name, the review link, and other tokens. Edit the wording to match your shop's voice.
Click Save Changes to lock it in.
After that, every work order that moves to a closed status fires the review request. The 30-day cooldown still applies, so customers will not get repeat requests within a month even if they have multiple closed work orders in quick succession.
To pause the automation later, return to the same card and toggle it off. The setup stays saved so you can flip it back on without reconfiguring.
