The Job Board is a Kanban-style view of your active work orders, grouped by status.
Go to Service > Job Board in the sidebar.
By default the board shows today's work: jobs scheduled for today, jobs still open from an earlier day, and any work order that was never put on the calendar. Work orders booked for a later day are held back, so the board stays focused on what is in the shop now. Whenever any are hidden, a line at the top of the board tells you how many, and the Today / All open buttons in the top right switch between the two views at any time.
Cards are organized in columns: Check-In, In Progress, Quality Check, and Closed Today. The Closed Today column holds the jobs you finished today, showing the time each one went out, with a See all link across to the full list of closed work orders. Each card shows the work order number, customer name, vehicle, the install date, and the assigned technician. The date line reads "Today" with the appointment time for work happening today, the day and time for a job booked further out (visible in the All open view), and "Was due" in amber when the scheduled day has already passed and the job is still open. A work order with no appointment shows the date it was created instead. Click a card to open the full work order.
A job the customer calls off does not belong on the board at all. Cancel the work order (open it and click Cancel Work Order) and it comes off the board immediately, along with any appointment booked for it. It is still findable under Service > Work Orders with the Status filter set to Cancelled. See How to Cancel a Work Order.
To filter or search, use Service > Work Orders instead. That list view has search by WO number, customer, or vehicle, plus status, technician, bay, and date-range filters, and it shows every work order regardless of when it is scheduled.
The Bays page (Service > Bays in the sidebar) is a separate view that shows every bay in your shop as a card, marked Available or showing the assigned work order, customer, vehicle, and technician.
