Technician Efficiency compares billed hours to actual hours clocked, so you can see whether techs are beating or missing the clock.

Go to Reports > Installer / Labor > Technician Efficiency.

This report only works if labor time tracking is enabled. Turn it on at Settings > Work Orders. Once it's on, every work order can be clocked in and out.

Each row shows tech name, job count, billed hours, actual hours, and efficiency percent. Efficiency is billed divided by actual:

  • 100% or more = beating the book (green)
  • 75 to 100% = on target
  • Below 75% = under (red)

Use this report to

  • Identify techs who consistently beat or miss flat-rate estimates
  • Set a baseline for hiring or training
  • Spot work orders that are systematically underbid

A tech with 90% efficiency on 50 jobs is more reliable than one with 110% on 5 - look at job count alongside the percent.
