There are a few different ways to look at scheduled work in your shop, and each is built for a different question.

The Scheduling Calendar (/scheduling) is the time-grid view. You see day, week, or month with each schedulable resource as a column. This is where you book appointments by clicking an empty slot, drag unscheduled invoices in, or drag existing appointments to move them. When you page ahead to another day and open one of the appointments, the Schedule button on it brings you back to that same day and view rather than to today, and so does your browser back button. The Today button jumps you back to the current day whenever you want it. Appointments are colored by how far along the job is, from booked through dropped off to posted, with a legend across the top. The All tab shows every resource. The Installations tab narrows to Bay resources only, and the Consultations tab narrows to Salesperson resources only. The same view is reachable from the sidebar via the Installation Calendar link under Service or the Consultation Calendar link under Customer Management. The sidebar links open the same page with different URL filters.

The Job Board (/work-orders/board) is the lane view of active work orders, grouped by status. It defaults to today's work: what is in the shop now, plus anything still open from an earlier day. Jobs booked for a later day are held back until their day comes, and the Today / All open buttons switch between the two views. The Job Board does not show time slots, only status lanes.

The Bays page (/work-orders/bays) is a quick look at which bays are currently in use and which are open right now. Each bay appears as a card marked Available or showing the assigned work order. Use this when a customer walks in and you need a fast yes-or-no on whether a bay is free.

In short: use the calendar to schedule and reschedule, the Job Board to track work in flight, and the Bays page to answer "is a bay free?" at the counter.
