Print a work order with the Print button on the work order page. You get a PDF you can hand to a technician or email to the customer. Here is what is on it, top to bottom.

**Header:** your company name or logo, address and phone, the work order number, the date it was created, its current status, the linked invoice number if there is one, and a barcode. Scanning that barcode from any page in Manifold opens this work order, and scanning it in the Mobile Bay app drops you straight into its check-in and check-out screens.

**Customer:** name, phone, email, and mailing address. The address is whatever is on the customer's record, so a customer with nothing on file there still prints name, phone, and email exactly as before, and a partial address prints the parts you do have. The same address shows on the work order page on screen, in the Customer & Vehicle panel, so you can read it off while filing a warranty without opening the customer record.

**Vehicle:** year, make, model, trim, color, VIN, and mileage in and out.

**Work Order Details:** bay, primary and secondary technician, location, who created it, the appointment, when the vehicle was checked in, and when the job was closed.

The appointment line shows the full booked window, start through end, for example "Jul 29, 2026, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM". A job booked across more than one day shows both dates. An all-day booking says All day instead of a time. If the appointment was cancelled or marked a no-show, no appointment line prints at all, since that booking is no longer real work.

**Job Description:** whatever is written in the Notes box on the linked invoice, the one labeled "Notes Shown on Invoice". This is where most shops write what the job actually is, for example "Install Sony XAVAX6000 in dash, integrate steering wheel controls". It prints in a blue box near the top so the technician can see the job at a glance. If the work order has no invoice, or that Notes box is empty, the block does not print. It reads the invoice as it stands today, so editing the invoice Notes changes the next printed work order without you touching the work order at all.

**Customer Concern:** the work order's own Notes field, in an amber box directly below the job description. This is the check-in field, where the front counter records the condition of the vehicle and anything the customer reported, for example "Dent in drivers rear door". It is deliberately separate from the job description: one is what you are doing, the other is what you found.

**Job Items:** the parts and labor from the linked invoice, with part number, description, type, and quantity. A part whose line description would just repeat its part number prints the product's own description instead, so the technician and the customer read what the job is rather than the code twice. Unit price and line total print as well, unless you have turned pricing off for work orders (see "How to Customize Receipts").

**Check-In Inspection** and **Check-Out / Quality Control:** each checklist with pass, fail, or N/A marked on every item, plus any photos uploaded at that stage.

**At the bottom:** your thank-you message and a customer signature line if you have those turned on in Settings > Receipt Customization, and your business type and tax IDs if you have chosen to show them.

Emailing it: the Email button on the work order sends this same PDF. Everything on the printed copy is on the emailed copy, the job description included, so keep the invoice Notes box customer-appropriate. For anything you would rather a customer not read, use Tech Notes on the work order, which never prints.
