The VIN Lookup page gives you a complete history of a vehicle at your shop, looked up by its VIN. Because it is keyed on the vehicle's VIN rather than on a single customer, 1sixty8 Manifold gathers everything your shop has recorded for that vehicle, even if the vehicle has changed owners over time.
Finding it
Open Wholesale in the sidebar and choose VIN Lookup. Type or paste the full VIN and click "Look Up History".
What it shows
When a match is found, the page lists everything tied to that VIN at your shop
- Vehicle details: year, make, model, trim, color, VIN, and license plate.
- Owners: every customer who has had the vehicle on file, past and present, with their contact details.
- Invoices: every invoice for the vehicle, with the customer or dealer, linked work order, total, and status.
- Work orders: every work order, including any that were never attached to an invoice.
- Appointments: every scheduled installation or consultation for the vehicle.
- Installed serialized components: any serialized parts installed on the vehicle, with their serial numbers and the invoice they were sold on.
Notes
VIN Lookup covers vehicles at your shop only. A vehicle appears once it has been recorded with that exact VIN, so a missing or mistyped VIN will not match. VIN Lookup is part of the Wholesale module.
