Go to Inventory > Products and type in the search box at the top. It searches a product's name, SKU, brand, and any other part numbers it goes by (Also Known As). Dashes, dots and spaces in part numbers don't matter: 40cr10 finds 40CR-10.
Suggestions as you type
After two characters, matching products drop down under the search box. Each shows the product name, with its SKU and invoice name or description below. Click one, or use the arrow keys and press Enter, to open that product. Press Esc to close the list.
Full search
Press Enter (or click Search) without picking a suggestion to filter the whole list instead. Use this to see every match, combine the search with the category, tag, vendor or stock filters, or bulk edit the results.
When suggestions don't appear
- Suggestions show active products only, so they are off while the Status filter is set to anything other than Active. Enter still searches.
- One-off items are not suggested. Tick "Include one-off items" and press Enter to find them.
- Type at least two characters.
