A time clock station is a computer or tablet at the shop where anyone on the time clock punches in with their PIN, the same quick-switch PIN they set under My Profile (click your picture at the top right). It only works on a device a manager paired.
The PIN station must be allowed in Settings > Time Clock ("A shared PIN station at the shop").
Pair a device
- On the device that will be the station, sign in as the owner or a manager with the "Manage time clock" permission.
- Go to Settings, find the Team Hub section, and click Time Clock Stations.
- Type a name, such as "Front counter" or "Shop wall tablet", and click "Make this a time clock station".
The station keeps working after you sign out.
A wall tablet
After pairing, open platform.manifoldos.co/time-clock/station on the tablet and add it to the home screen. It shows a PIN pad and the time. Each person types their PIN, sees whether they're clocked in, and taps Clock in, Clock out, Start break or End break.
A counter PC
A counter PC can be a station and still be used for sales. Whoever is signed in, open the time clock button at the top of the screen and choose "PIN station (anyone)". The PIN pad opens over the page, the next person punches, and it closes again. The signed-in salesperson stays signed in.
If the internet drops
Punches made while the station is offline are saved on the device, marked with the time they happened, and sent as soon as it's back online. A banner says when punches are waiting.
Wrong PINs
Five wrong PINs in a row lock the station for five minutes, and the lockout is recorded in Settings > Security's audit log.
Remove a station
Paired stations are listed on the same page with when each was last used. Click Remove to stop a lost or replaced device from punching.
