If your shop uses the time clock and you're set up for it, you clock in when you start work and clock out when you leave. Your shop chooses which of these you can use.
At the shop's PIN station
Type your PIN, then tap Clock in, Clock out, Start break or End break. Tap "My hours" to see this pay period's hours.
On a computer
Click the time clock button at the top of any page. It shows whether you're clocked in, with the buttons to punch.
On your phone
Open the 1sixty8 Manifold app and tap Time Clock. Your phone asks to share your location the first time; the location is saved with the punch. If you're away from the shop, the punch still counts but is flagged for a manager to look at.
Breaks
If your shop tracks breaks, tap Start break when you go and End break when you're back. Breaks are unpaid. If you were running a job timer on a work order, it pauses during the break and picks up again when the break ends.
The job timer and your shift
Start Job and Stop Job on a work order time that job; clocking in and out times your shift. If you start a job while you're not clocked in, you're asked whether to clock in for your shift too. Clocking out, or the shop's cutoff closing your shift, also stops any job timer you have running.
If you forget to clock out
You may get a reminder after closing time. If the shift is still open after your shop's cutoff (usually 16 hours), it closes as a missed clock-out and counts zero hours until it's fixed. The next time you punch, you're asked what time you left, and your manager approves it.
Your hours and corrections
Click your picture (or initials) at the top right and choose My Hours (on the phone, the Time Clock screen shows your hours for each day this week and this pay period, and lets you send the time you left after a missed clock-out; other corrections are sent from My Hours on a computer). You see each shift, your breaks and your total for the pay period. You can't change your own time. If something is wrong, use "Ask for a correction" to tell your manager what happened (a shift you never clocked in for, a late clock-in, or something else) and they'll fix it. Your requests and their answers are listed under Your requests.
