The Settings page has a search box at the top. Use it when you know what you want to change but not which settings page it lives on.
- Open Settings from the sidebar.
- Start typing in the Search settings box. The list narrows down as you type, and groups with no matches disappear.
- Click the setting you want, or press Enter to open the first one shown.
The search looks at each setting's name and description, and also at the settings inside that page. For example, "tax rate" finds Invoicing, "logo" finds Company Profile, "surcharge" finds Invoicing, "idle timeout" finds Security, and "google calendar" finds Scheduling. Typing several words shows only settings that match all of them.
Press Escape to clear the search and see every setting again. If nothing matches, the page says so; try a shorter or different word.
The search only shows the settings you can already open. Settings for modules your shop does not have, or owner-only settings when you are not the owner, never appear in the results.
