If your company runs more than one store in 1sixty8 Manifold, you can move from one store to another without signing out and typing the other store's code and your password.
Which store am I in?
At a store that has sister stores, the top bar shows the store's name at the top left. On the phone, it shows under your name on the Account screen. A shop with one store sees nothing new.
Switching on a computer
- Click the store's name at the top left.
- The menu lists your stores, with "You are here" beside the current one.
- Click the store you want. You land on that store's dashboard (or your usual first page), signed in there.
Switching on the phone
- Tap Account, then Switch Store.
- Tap the store you want. You land on the home screen, signed in there.
The first time you switch on a phone, the phone is added to your Trusted Devices at the other store, so it stays signed in there. Switching back and forth after that reuses it. Signing out removes the phone from your other stores too.
Whose login you use
Switching signs you in at the other store as your own login there, the one with the same email address. Your role and permissions at that store decide what you can do there, not the ones at the store you left. On the phone, the lock screen asks for your PIN at that store, and passkey unlock is set up separately at each store.
A store you have no login at shows "No login here". Ask that store's owner to add you as an employee using the same email address. A store that is not answering shows "Not answering"; try again in a minute.
Who can switch
The "Switch to other stores without signing in again" permission controls it (Managers > Permissions, in the Other Stores group). Owners and every manager role have it to start; salespeople, installers and custom roles do not, and an owner can turn it on for anyone. Without it, you still see the store's name, but not the menu.
Worth knowing
- Switching is recorded in each store's security log.
- Nothing you had open at one store follows you to the other. Save your work before you switch.
- Switching is not available during a 1sixty8 support session.
