Hours Worked totals each employee's shift hours from the time clock for a pay period. It's the report to send to payroll.

Go to Reports and find the Time Clock section. It appears once the time clock is turned on, for the owner and anyone with the "Manage time clock" permission.

Picking the period

Choose Current pay period, Last pay period or Custom range. Pay periods follow your Time Clock settings.

What it shows

One row per employee: days worked, regular hours, estimated overtime, total hours and unpaid break time, with a Flags column for anything worth a look (Missed clock-out, Still clocked in, Edited, Added by a manager, Off-site punch, Recorded offline, Long break, Location unknown).

How it counts

  • A shift counts on the store day it was clocked in.
  • Breaks are unpaid and come off.
  • A missed clock-out counts zero hours until a manager enters the real time, so fix the Needs review list on Team Hub > Time Clock before running payroll.
  • Overtime uses the work week and the weekly (and, if set, daily) overtime hours from your Time Clock settings. Hours already counted as daily overtime don't count again toward the weekly limit. It's labeled an estimate: your payroll provider is the authority on what's owed.

Export and print

Export to CSV for your payroll provider, or print it. Lock the pay period on Team Hub > Time Clock once you've sent it, so nobody changes the hours afterward.

Shift hours against job time

If your shop also uses the job timer on work orders, the Technician Efficiency report (Reports > Installer / Labor) shows each technician's shift hours next to the time they spent on jobs.
